shameful

Today at school a social justice lawyer gave a presentation today about some of his work. He said that in the U.S. people who have been incarcerated federally lose their voting rights FOR LIFE. Unbelievable.

    Since hearing that a few years ago, I for some reason thought that it was the same for Canadians. Good to hear that it isn't?

    Nah, I think the Canadian issue a few years ago was whether prisoners could vote while imprisoned...I'll look into it though. When I get a chance.
